Xray T3R vs T2'009 for rally?

Hello,

Inspired by Tamiyaforum.cz and Rally Brno sites with Xray Rally mods, i decide to make one.
Im asking here becouse Xray isnt popular as rally in Poland.

i got two choices with almost same price:

- almost new, stock T3R

or
- T2'009 with
- Lipo Xray mount
- new ball differencial by Xraya + karbid balls + new screw
- Xray lipo top deckmod
- Titan stripes

Personaly I choose T3R, it is new, better desing. For conversion you need only new shocks (I recomended CVA minishock from Tamiya). If you get more information about all conversion, you must just read this forum and especially section Rally and T2/T3 modification (I know, all forum is in the Czech, but you can use translator:)).

I would choose T2009, because of CVD's - on T3R they're made from some kind of cheap aluminium, they have short live... On T2009 they're from better material (I think spring steel on front and swiss Al on rear)...
Changes between T2009 and T3 are minimal, so I think that full-prize T2009 wil be better.

Ive also heard T2 9 have anti roll bars , and adjustable turnbuckles.
Which is + 80euro for T3R.

For rally you dont have to use anti roll bar - this is useless for rally. Adjustable turnbuckles is also on T3R!
